Will the use of Franking 1st supplies invalidate my franking machine warranty?

No, they will not invalidate the franking machine warranty and it is illegal for the manufacturer or the service engineer to say that it does.

Compatible cartridges

All of the franking machine cartridges supplied by Franking 1st have been extensively tested and are guaranteed to work faultlessly in the machine specified.

Compatible cartridges are new cartridges that have been manufactured to the highest standard by a specialist company in this field.

Compatible cartridges are not manufactured by the manufacturer of the franking machine.

Refilled and remanufactured Cartridges

Refilled and remanufactured cartridges are refilled to the highest standards, with stringent quality control. Each cartridge is checked for faultless functionality prior to being cleaned, reset and refilled with postage quality ink.

Refilled cartridges are reset to provide the same number of impressions as the original manufacturer’s cartridge and refilled with the same amount of high quality postage grade ink as the original manufacturer uses. Through this process the cartridges supplied by Franking 1st are guaranteed to perform as well as an original cartridge.

Warranty

All goods supplied by Franking 1st are warranted against defect for a period of 60 days from date of shipment.

If you are dissatisfied with any product supplied by Franking 1st you should, in the first instance, contact Franking 1st here detailing your reasons.

Franking 1st will issue a returns number and advise the best method of return before either issuing a replacement or full refund.

Items cannot be returned for replacement unless a returns number has been issued.

Damage in transit

If the goods are damaged in transit then please contact Franking 1st here within three (3) working days.

Once the damaged goods are received, Franking First will send replacement goods or issue a full refund.
Please bear in mind that soft packaging often becomes damaged in transit due to the method of delivery but in most cases the item enclosed remains in good condition and fit for purpose.

Incorrectly Shipped Items

If the goods supplied are not as ordered then please contact Franking 1st here within three (3) working days.
Franking 1st will issue a returns number and advise the best method of return.
Items cannot be returned unless a returns number has been issued.
Once the incorrectly shipped goods are received, Franking First will send the correct goods or issue a full refund.

Incorrectly Ordered Items

If incorrect goods have been ordered, please contact Franking 1st here within three (3) working days.
Franking 1st will issue a returns number. Items cannot be returned unless a returns number has been issued.
Incorrectly ordered items can only be returned provided they are not damaged and in their original unopened condition.
The customer will be responsible for the cost of return postage. We advise all customers to return items via Royal Mail ‘Recorded Sign For’ service as refunds cannot be made until goods are received by us.
Once the incorrectly ordered items are received and provided they meet the above criteria, then a refund will be issued. A deduction will be made for any postage incurred and not charged at the time of ordering.

Dispatch

Your order will only be dispatched on the same day if it is received before 1.30pm.

Delivery

In most cases delivery will be via first class Royal Mail, although other options are available.

Please provide as much information as possible as to the reason for your dissatisfaction and mark your email for the attention of the Managing Director.
